How to ship an MVP in 90 days without regretting it

Most MVPs fail for one of two reasons: they take so long that the market moves on, or they are rushed so badly that the second version has to start from scratch. Both are avoidable.

1. Cut scope, not quality

Pick the single journey that proves your idea and build that journey properly. Everything else goes on a 'later' list. A small product that works beats a big one that almost works.

2. Decide the boring things early

  • Authentication and roles
  • Hosting and environments
  • Analytics events
  • Error monitoring

These decisions are cheap in week one and expensive in week ten.

3. Demo every week

Weekly demos force real progress, surface misunderstandings early and keep stakeholders confident. If there is nothing to demo, that is a signal worth hearing.

An MVP is not a smaller product. It is a sharper question.

Ship, measure, and let real users write the next roadmap.
